Going away? We can help you with that!

At Aqueduct Animal Hospital we offer boarding for cats and dogs. We ask that you please call ahead for reservations. We usually have lots of availabilty even last minute, but we fill up quickly and space is limited on all major holidays and seasonal breaks. Please make reservations at least three weeks ahead of time during peak boarding times. All pets must be up to date with our vaccine requirements before boarding.

We require that all dogs have a current Rabies and Distemper vaccine. Also we require that all dogs boarding in our kennel have had the Bordetella vaccine within the last six months. Please check your pet's records or with your veterinarian for the date that the vaccine was last given. Please be advised that we will consider the vaccine good for six months from the date the vaccine was administered regardless of the expiration date. This policy is to provide the safest environment possible for your pet and all pets boarding in the kennel.

Cats boarding with us must have a current Rabies and Distemper vaccine. Also, if the Feline Leukemia vaccine is regularly given to your cat, they must be up to date with that vaccine as well.

What to bring:

You may bring your own food or we can provide food for no additional cost. If your pet requires a special diet, even if you purchase that food at our hospital, you must bring it with you to avoid an additional charge.

We provide bedding and bowls at no additional cost. We ask that you leave your pet's beds and bowls at home to avoid any damage or loss. Also, we ask that you keep your leash with you at the time of drop off. We try our best to make sure that all pet's belongings are kept safe and with the pet at all times. However, please be advised that during busy times beds, leashes, and toys can be misplaced and even the most well-behaved pets sometimes destroy their belongings due to anxiety or boredom. If you really wish to bring a bed, blanket, or a toy, please make sure it is clearly labeled, washable, and you don't mind not getting it back.

If your pet requires any medication please bring it with you. There will be an additional charge for medication given if not provided to us.
