Aqueduct Animal Hospital:
We're your pet's other best friend
At Aqueduct Animal Hospital,
routine wellness care is only the beginning. Our experienced staff
takes time to get to know you and your pet. We perform through
wellness exams, from the tip of your pet's nose to the tail...
looking at every organ and system in between. We personalize a
vaccine and deworming plan that fits your pet's needs, as well as
offer name brand heartworm and flea and tick preventatives at prices
competitive to online pharmacies.
Our groomer will keep your
pet clean and clipped, which can help prevent ear, eye, and skin
infections. When you go away from home, our boarding staff watches
your pet as they would watch their own , giving each pet attention
throughout the day. Our staff is trained to notify the veterinarians
if any problem arises, so that little problems that can occur while
boarding don't become big problems when you get home. If you're
interested, we also offer a few dogs daycare daily (please call for
details).
If and when an illness or
disease afflicts your pet, we are here for the both of you. As pet
owners, we know how hard it is to have your pet injured or sick. We
use care and compassion for both you and your pet. We treat illnesses
from the root to the branch, identifying the cause of the symptoms
and treating to heal, rather than cover up.
Our veterinarians are highly
skilled in both medicine and surgery. We are constantly studying and
taking courses to deliver the best care in the area. We can also have
an internal medicine specialist, or board-certified surgeon come to
our hospital, bringing advance diagnostics and services to you. Our
anesthesia techniques are safe and minimize pain in order to ensure a
smooth recovery. During surgery, your pet is monitored by skilled
technicians using modern equipment and monitoring techniques. We work
closely with all specialists to help your pet heal quickly and
comfortably.
We perform routine dental
cleanings and use the most modern dental techniques to repair or
remove teeth safely, with the least amount of discomfort. Our clients
routinely tell us how much happier their pet feels with a clean and
healthy mouth.
We are the only veterinarian
clinic in the area compounding medications. A compounded medication
is a medication made especially for your pet. We offer some of our
medications that can be dosed and flavored, which makes it easier for
you to give your pet medication.
We offer a range of
specialty foods to treat and prevent disease. Our prescription diets
can sometimes manage illness without having to give medications at
home at all.
If medications aren't an
option or if you prefer an all-natural remedy, Dr. Pike can diagnose
and treat your pet using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and
Acupuncture. He can utilize both eastern and western medicine at your
request to treat and/or rehabilitate your pet.
With everything we have to
offer, it's no wonder why we are establishing ourselves as the
premier animal hospital in the area. Our doctors and friendly staff
strive to exceed your expectations every time you come into our
hospital.
At Aqueduct, we know that
it's not what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that
counts. We may look a little less state-of-the-art, but what pet
looks at art anyway? Our mission is to be your pet's other best
friend.

welcome your comments and suggestions.
